Starters  - Something basic 20 minutes each

2.        Research into Jubilee 2000, use the 5Ws hanging on a cross bar to investigate – Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?

3.        Research one sustainable development project for discussion in class

5.  Create a United Nations criteria for judging levels of development – if you were parachuted into any place on Planet Earth, what things would you investigate to check the level of development of the place?  Write a list and EXPLAIN it in a paragraph

6. Complete the Graphing Task on Literacy rates and GDP - Excel file here,  get the task sheet here

7. Write a full  evaluation of performance in the trading game using the sheet provided here

8. Should we give aid?  Respond to this question by explaining the positives and negatives of Aid and then by JUSTIFYING your opinion.
