View Map of France in a larger map France is also part of the European Union, a political union of most of the countries in Europe. These countries have joined together to trade together, increase prosperity and improve the lives of the people who live in those countries. Although there are clear differences between the UK and France, including culture, food and language, the countries have a shared history and many things in common. France is a brilliant country to use to study Geography because of it's politics, climate ranging from maritime (like we have in Britain) to Mediterranean on the South Coast, and stunning physical Geography. Europe's highest peak, Mont Blanc, is in France, France has 3 mountain ranges and huge rivers. |
